This is just a concept for a class project and has not been used…yet.
THE Challenge
This was a project that my whole Creative Craft II Class, worked on, it was a small class. We worked with a small agency named Stebbings Partners and a big restaurant group in Boston (name unknown). The challenge was we had to come up with a brand concept for a new Mexican tavern in Boston. They didn't want it to be the typical American-Mexican restaurant, they wanted something completely different.
the SOLUTION
To really make it feel you're at a real Mexican restaurant, that is not in the resorts or high tourist areas. Then create a story behind it, so people are more focused on the experience when coming to this restaurant then you would with others.
the how
Tequila! During our research we found out that Mexico really loves Tequila, and not in the way we thought at first. See they do not take shots of tequila, they drink it straight up on the rocks, and then sip it and really enjoy the taste. (This was a huge shock to a bunch of college kids!) They even age it, and make it similar to wine. So we wanted to focus the tavern around the Legado (legend in Spanish) of Tequila.
