This is just a concept for a class project and has not been used…yet.

The Challenge

Arizona Jean Company is a store brand under JCPenney.   Like most store brands Arizona Jeans heavily relies on JCPenney's reputation. This makes Arizona Jeans have that same basic boring reputation that JCPenney does, and most people wear them because their mom bought them.

The solution

To give Arizona Jeans its own reputation. To make it seem like it’s just one of the many brands that JCPenney sells, like Van Heusen, and Izod to name a few. Also by making the brand more of your everyday jeans. Going to the store? Wear your Arizonas. Going out to the town for the night? Wear you Levie's.

The How

Sell in other stores that are not JCPenney. Like TJ-Max, Marshalls, Bob Stores, and other more working class stores. Have the Arizona branded selves, or sections of those stores like they do in JCPenney. Also to have pop up shops in popular shopping centers, during prime jean buying time, Sept-Dec. These stores will be all Arizona out. Then run a poster campaign in the stores, and in magazines, and social media to let people know about the brand and a new website as well.
